Why did you choose HPN?
I chose HPN because I knew of Cliff Harvey and I knew I would learn a lot from him. Also the modules were interesting.
What did you get out of the HPN course/why would you recommend it to others?
I learnt a lot about metabolic adaptation and how to fuel the body for recovery and repair. Even though the course focuses mainly on athletes I can use the HPN basis on my general clients who are looking at losing weight. I would recommend this course to others because you will learn the science behind nutrition in relation to performance.
What was your background experience in nutrition?
After I graduated from Wellpark College and gained a Diploma in Nutrition, I started up my clinic from home.
What are you up to now as a graduate of HPN?
I still run my own clinic from home and have a lot more knowledge and confidence in helping people achieve their goals through the HPN philosophy.
What does your ideal day off entail?
Spending time with my husband and my boys.
What is your favorite way to nourish your body and what is your biggest food weakness?
Through the personal challenge from the HPN course I began to train with a PT. Since then I still work out with my PT as well as use my home gym. My biggest food weakness would have to be chocolate. Especially Lindt chocolate.
What does your weekly fitness routine consist of?
Running once a week, 2 strength workouts and yoga.
