Why did you choose HPN?
Nutrition is possibly the most important aspect of what I do and what I am most passionate about. I have known Cliff for a while and wanted to learn from the best.

What did you get out of the HPN course/ why would you recommend it others?
I got a lot out of HPN, but the two main things are: I have learnt to be more comfortable with prescribing higher fat lower carbohydrate nutrition and I have a deeper understanding of how elevated insulin leads to weight gain (and problems with metabolism).
This is the best place to come to learn about higher fat, lower carbohydrate nutrition and about metabolic flexibility.
I recommend it to others because it is quality education, it is very relevant information, it is evidence based and is about real food/nutrition and real results.

What was your background experience in nutrition?
I am a naturopath

What are you up to now as a graduate of HPN?
I see clients and I work for a nutrition supplement company

What's does your ideal day off entail?
A sleep in followed by a yummy brunch (scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, avocado and long black with cream) and long walk on the beach, feet in the sand. Then an afternoon of cooking for the family…

What is your favorite way to nourish your body and what is your biggest food weakness?
I love an interesting salad- creative ways of combining flavours. You can taste the nourishment and it makes me feel satisfied.
Coffee is my biggest weakness. I do my best to keep this in balance, but don’t always get this right!

What does your weekly fitness routine consist of?
I lift heavy things 1-2x weekly with a trainer, and I like to run at least once a week.

 Favorite piece of nutritional advice?
Drink beetroot juice! It is so good for you!
